    Hi Ashley,?i have the same problems in my logfile, i think that the problem is too big foto files. How can I send you the log file to examine this for me.

    Hi Renate,

    From the log, it appears that the disk quota is being exceeded.

    I would recommend the following:

    • You will need to clear out or increase the disk quota. You can start by removing any unneeded or corrupted backup files from the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory
    • Add the following to the Uploads ‘exclude these’ list:
      nl_NL-eRjRQ2.tmp,en_GB-EIUu4Q.tmp,nl_NL-WbaMA3.tmp

    After making these changes, please could you attempt a fresh backup?

    i have made after the changes you recommend, a fresh backup en still having a error.
    i send you also the screenshots to aproved the space in dropbox.
    i hope you could examine the logfile again for me.

    Apologies for the delay.

    It appears that the disk quota is still being exceeded when the backup is taken.

    Please could you check the amount of free disk space in your hosting control panel, and let me know?

    Hi,

    From the screenshot, it appears that there is simply not enough room on the hosting account to create the backups.

    It appears that you are currently using 745MB of your available 1000MB.

    Before UpdraftPlus can upload the backups to remote storage, it first has to create the backup files on the server. The backup can be almost the same size as the site itself (especially if it is mostly images or video files).

    I’m afraid that you will need to increase the maximum disk space on your hosting account (To at the very least 2000MB), so there is enough room to create the backups.

    Hi DNutbourne,
    I have a last question:
    To add the following 3 file to the exclude Uploads is this a good think to do always. The file are the language files for wordpress and will come always whit a new update.

    If the disk space has been increased, it should be fine to remove those files from the exclusion list.
