    1. This plugin saves you time,
    2. Until it doesn’t.

When is that? When this plugin “auto generates” featured images for your posts by using real live book covers, and real live marketing materials with REAL BRAND NAMES and REAL ICONS, and REAL AUTHOR NAMES, anbd REAL BOOK TITLES…

About one third of the posts we’ve made have 100% COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL in them.

If I upgrade to paid Pro will I get non-copyrighted materials guaranteed?

I added a thrird star because the Magic Thumbnail plugin does help with productivity–when it helps.

    Hello SmileWP,

It really depends on your settings. Historically, Google Images was the first source for getting images into the plugin (more than 10 years ago) into the plugin, but over the years, other image banks have been added: Pixabay, Openverse (formerly CC Search), Pexels, Unsplash, Envato Elements, and even DALL-E.

Additionally, you can use the “Rights” setting under Google Images to search only for copyright-free images. With the Pro version, you can also use “Restricted domains” and “Blacklisted domains” to control where the images come from.

I recommend adjusting your settings if you don’t want to worry about copyright issues. You could try using sources like Pixabay or Openverse (available in the free version), or explore Envato Elements, Pexels, Unsplash, and DALL-E with the Pro version.

Please consider giving the plugin another try by changing your settings (I’m happy to provide support if needed) and, if possible, update your review based on your new experience.

    Regards

Update: I created a web blog article:
“Top TradeGecko Integrations to Boost Productivity”

Explore the essential integrations with TradeGecko that can elevate your e-commerce operations and drive productivity. Streamlining your inventory management is crucial for maximizing efficiency in your e-commerce business. TradeGecko (now known as QuickBooks Commerce) offers various integrations that enhance its functionality, allowing you to automate tasks, sync data, and ultimately boost productivity. Here’s a closer look at some of the top integrations that can transform your business operations.

    Magic Thumbnail added an image

“Using Pipedrive Integrations to Boost Sales productivity.”

WHAT? Pipedrive isn’t even a word in the article.

I removed the image and hit Generate Automatically again.

Same image. No matter how many times you generate automatically, Magic Thumbnail returns the same image.

If a user generates an image automatically, then removes the image and gens a new one, it really should gen a new one because that clearly indicates that the prior image was not acceptable or desired by the user.

Another HUGE helpful addition would be three fields and one checkbox near the Generate Automatically button:

    1. Required Keywords: Users can enter one or more keywords that MUST be in the image,
    2. Required Title: Users can enter a phrase that should be the image title (for organic SEO success),
    3. Never Use Keywords: Users can enter one or more keywords that MUSTNEVER be in the image.

The checkbox: [_] Use keywords from the excerpt in the image.

I hope these constructive notes help make the plugin better–it is 90% perfect already, and helps productivity–when it helps.
