• Just installed UM but am unable to figure out how to change the dark gray text that is used a lot.

Obviously there’s a whole section in Appearance where link colours etc can be tweaked, but I’m not sure if there’s a setting to alter what, I think is um-meta-text. Basic things like the username on the Profile page, or the ‘Change Password’ or ‘Privacy’ sections under ‘account’ are in this gray colour (which doesn’t show up against my theme’s green background).

You can see it (or not) in the description text at https://www.jockrock.org/user/itm. I’d guessed this would be editable in the settings rather than having to edit a CSS, but can’t see anywhere among the many settings that has this gray value (I’ve set most stuff to white or black for now). Any advice gratefully received…

    Hi @smchugh,

Do you mean text color which is used in the profile/registration forms? You can change it in Ultimate member -> Settings -> Appearance and Form inputs section.

    Regards.

Thanks – the odd thing is that I’ve set every colour in every part of the Settings section to be black or white – there’s nothing set to any shade of gray – but still the username etc display in this dark-ish shade. So I figured it must be hard-coded somewhere and was looking for whatever advice there was on amending a stylesheet or a line in one of the php files.
