Wanting to center Meteor Slideshow using TwentyTwelve theme

Hello there,

So this is my first WordPress site and I’m working through the ins and outs on changing the TwentyTwelve theme by means of a child theme. This being said, I have successfully added Meteor Slides to the homepage and now want to center the alignment. It is currently positioned left-justified under the navigation links.

I have read some previous posts on this topic and I’m still confused on how you change the slideshow alignment using metadata. What file do you include the following code snippet in?

[meteor_slideshow metadata=”align: ‘center'”]

Does it go in the front-page.php document or style.css document, both located in the childoftwentytwelve folder I created? Sorry for asking a repetitive question… any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
