Want youtube videos to always play in main player

  • I have a page where I have the videohome short code placed. It shows a main video player with my first video and then several video thumbnails below it. All in the same category. How can I make the settings so when you click on one of the small thumbnails it starts playing that video in the main player instead of opening a new page much like a post does?
    Is this possible or did I choose the wrong plugin?
    These are all youtube videos. I just want a gallery.

    If you are using [videohome] shortcode, it will display the main player with three sections called ‘Popular’, ‘Recent’, ‘Featured’ videos. When you click the thumb images, it will redirect you to the new page to play the videos.

    If you have used the shortcode ‘[hdvideo id=10 playlistid=1 relatedvideos=on]’, it will display the player with related videos slider section in the post/page. So if you redirect the user to the new page, when you click the thumb image, the user cannot see the post content in the new page. For eg:

    You have a big paragraph and in between the content you have called, the player with thumb images. If someone clicks the thumb image, the system will redirect him/her to the new page, then they cannot see that big paragraph. So, by default, the plugin playing the video in the same player. However, you can change the plugin to redirect to the new page. Contact the support team at [email protected].
