Want to vary depth of featured image on home page

    I am using the blogphix theme.
    The homepage feature images are all the same depth, except for the left and right sidebars. I would like to be able to vary the depth of the featured image. My new post “A Can’t-Miss Summer Tradition…” has a featured image above it that needs to be longer (“AS YOU LIKE IT”). Is there a way to rewrite the code to allow for a varying length for feature images? If so, how?
