  • If you’re looking to use sticky ads there are some CSS based approaches that may work in AMP. If you’re using AdSense be mindful that sticky ads are not one of the include ad format types, unless you’re using Ad Manager. Also consider that depending on how you implement sticky ads they may violate some AdSense guidelines such as ads over content or even encountering accidental clicks, more information here.

If you find a CSS solution that works for your site please check with the AdSense Help Center or with your chosen ad network provider for any policy guidelines for sticky ads. Note that some plugins, such as AdVanced Ads may provide support for sticky ads. You’ll need to check whether these features work in AMP URLs, in many cases such as Advanced Ads they are a plugin add on.

Hi @harianja. Just to let you know there is a sticky ad component which I wasn’t aware of when previously responding. You’ll find more on this below:
    https://amp.dev/documentation/components/amp-sticky-ad/

Note that you’ll need to check with your ad network to ensure they support sticky ads.
