want to upload in a particular category(date folder)

    i just came across this plugin and should say its perfect for me but have some questions.

    i have a website which i upload the products to sell ..hence i have to delete certain products after 1 month ..which i do automatically…but the problem is that product page gets deleted but the product images still stay in media gallery.

    hence is it possible that i store product directly in folder of date (1sep2017,2sep2017) and then delete the whole folder after 1 month (1sep2017 will be deleted on 2-oct-2017 and so on).

    but that image should not stay in general media folder after deleting from date folders…hence it should be directly uploaded in date folder and should stay there and then can be permanently deleted directly from there.

  • I’m not the author, but might be able to shed some light.

    As I understand the WordPress upload structure, any media you upload goes into a MONTHLY folder, not by exact date. It would therefore be difficult to narrow down the deletion of images by specific date.

    However, if you have cPanel or FTP access to your site, you could navigate to those directories and delete the image files manually. (I’m guessing you want to delete the images files to save space on your server.)

    To perform this function “automatically”, you’ll probably need to contact a developer or WordPress plugin developer, to create the code you need.

    Sorry I can’t solve your problem, but maybe this will help moving forward.
