want to remove top menu from mobile device

    Hi,

    Please forgive me if this post has already been discussed. I have tried to look for a solution to my problem but i haven’t had any success yet.

    I would like to remove the top-menu from view in a mobile browser. I have installed a plugin which allows a mobile menu at the top so that an accordion style menu will appear at the top.

    I have setup the website on a desktop computer and am happy with it. I just need to customize the css or whatever it is so that my site will be done… for now. I am very new to this kind of thing so any advice or help would be much appreciated.

  • Hello! Add this bit

    @media only screen and (max-width: 768px) {
.main-navigation.primary {
display: none;
}
}

    at the very bottom of your style.css file (or in a custom CSS box if your theme has one) and save. Now your main navigation will be hidden on mobile devices.

    worked perfectly. I think i saw something like this but i didn’t know i was supposed to put it at the very bottom. I just put it in the menu section in the CSS.
