want to recover deleted tags

  • I’ve been reconfiguring my tags, including deleting a lot of unneeded ones. However, I accidentally deleted a few I’d rather keep. The system says it moved them to the “trash,” so it seems I should be able to find them somewhere and restore them. (On the flip side, I probably need to go permanently delete the others from the trash to free up the slugs.)

    But I can’t find a trash bin anywhere for tags. Where should I be looking?

    Sorry to say, Tag deletion can not be undone or recovered once you have deleted.

    The only way recover is restore a backup.

    If you have a backup taken before deletion, restore it.

    Or, ask your hosting provider if they have a backup of your site. If they do, ask the to restore it.
