Want to keep /blog in address on individual posts

    “/blog” in this case, would usually imply that wordpress is installed in a sub-directory on your site. (Is it?)

    If you want the word “blog” to show in post permalinks, you can try a custom structure of /blog/%postname%/

    ..but I would think that will also show “blog” in every link except “pages” (archives, tags, etc…) and I have no clue as to the long term affects on indexing, SEO, or what have you.

    Just a guess. Try it at your own risk.
