is hiding errors not related to enabling curl ! as i stated my host is not enabling the curl()

If you host isn’t going to enable curl, hiding the resulting warning messages is the best you can do.

Yes, but you can turn errors back on.

If you want to suppress just that error, put an @ symbol in front of curl_exec.

Your host should know how to disable errors, but if not, use Songdogtech’s recommendation, “Ask your host to add…”.

… add this to your wp-config.php around the WP_DEBUG part (try this first)

@ini_set('display_errors', 0 );

Also of course making sure WP_DEBUG define is set to false in your wp-config.php file as well.
