    Hi all,

I would like to start exploring the potential of WordPress and have installed an instance via SOFTALICIOUS on my Master Domain and its working fine with no problems.

I want to now deploy another site on a subdomain for further testing and development. On my Cpanel with my provider the installation of WordPress doesn’t appear (not been installed using their means). I go to deploy a new instance of wordpress on the Softalicious site and, Its simply not letting me and throws errors such as ‘Domain already added’ or, ‘ftp path not recognised’. It doesn’t matter how I define the subdomain when I go to add the site prior to installation, its not liking me at all.

    Any suggestions?

    Ta

    Hello,

When asked to select the domain name you want to install to, are you only seeing the “MASTER” domain?

You need to have created the subdomain in your cPanel in the domains section before going to installing in the subdomain.
