I already have 1 running blog – and want to open/add another NEW site/blog. can i do it on the same “dashboard” or that i need to open a new one? how can i get simple instruction?

Assuming that you want a second site, you will need to install WordPress again in the relevant location on your domain.

Why? Multisite is not the right solution for every person who wants to host more than one site.

you have to install again wordpress,and DB if you don’t use the option of Multisite.
To escape from these things multisite is a good option.
you run a network of unlimited sites on one installation.

I do not have any final answer here, but here is what one Developer said to me before I made a completely-separate site to use as a sandbox:

I am not a fan of making your site multi-site…because of the extra database mess it creates. Not to mention multi-site functions a little differently so you may have problems getting some functions to respond correctly…
You can make a clean environment by installing WordPress in a sub-folder and using a sub-domain to access it. If you use the same database but change the prefix in the new wp-config…you can share tables like the user and usermeta table to keep the same login data or other settings if you’d like.
