    Hi,

FYI, I searched on these forums first before deciding to ask you all since I was unable to locate any useful information using the search words I used…

I have a client who wants this. Site has comments and only members can comment. When comments are listed, then they should list the usual name, url, gravtar etc, and also list the count of all comments that user has made in the entire blog.

Ex. If John Doe has made 21 comments in 8 different posts and Jane Doe has made 2 comments in 1 post, the comment listing in the pageview of any post that has their comments should display as follows.

    John Doe (21 comments) ….
    ….
… comment text for john doe’s comment on this post

and for Jane Doe ,it should be

    Jane Doe (2 comments)….

…. this is comment 1 text for Jane Doe’s comment on this post

    ….
    other comments….
    Jane Doe (2 comments)….

…. this is comment 2 text for jane doe comment on this post
