Wonderful plugin! I have installed on a network, and want the points and settings to reflect network-wide.

I have BBpress and Buddypress installed in a ‘child’ site, and want to award points within them, *however* in the ‘root’ site I do not have BBpress nor Buddypress installed, so I cannot enable the hooks.

Can you please suggest what my best course of action would be?

    Update:

I tried activating bbpress and buddypress in the root site, which then enabled the bbpress hook menu, but the Buddypress Addon feature will not stay activated.

Also, I don’t wish to *keep* these activated in my root site (just in the child site), and I noticed as soon as I deactivate them in the root site, the hooks no longer apply in my child site where BBpress is active.

    Please advise.

If I set it up with separate installs for each site, is there a way to ‘merge’ the points network wide, perhaps?

Unfortunately on Multisites, myCRED will only support what it has access to. If a particular plugin is not network wide enabled, myCRED will not award points as it will not find these plugins.

myCRED gives points by hooking into plugins and WP functions though actions and filter hooks. If the plugin in question is not enabled or is not accessible on the same site, these hooks will not fire which will cause myCRED to be left out.
