Want Initial Post page to show up under Pages as “Home”

I need the initial post page to be listed in the Navigation as the “Home”. I found the following in another post:

<ul role=”navigation”>

• <h2>Navigation</h2>

• Home

<?php wp_list_pages(‘title_li=’ ); ?>

but it did not work. I am using the default template. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong? By the way, “Navigation” does not show either, it still is displayed as “Pages”. The site is https://www.workthegasteps.net.
