Want everything of FVP other than Feature video thumb

    This is my first post to wp. I am trying from last 5 hours to solve an issue.

    I want to use FVP, but don’t want to use Featured video replacement to Featured Image.

    Please look into this: https://www.storypick.com/
    This is not my website, but it is using FVP and at the same time not using featured video-thumb, but using normal featured image.

    I want to use exactly samething https://www.storypick.com/ is doing.

    I understand one of the main advantage of FVP is to replace Feature video-thumb to Featured image. But I want to use FVP becasue of easy to place video on page + excellent re-sizing.
