want category page center column to display image

  • Hi all. Am newbie with php and wordpress but I dont think my issue is difficult for u experts! ??
    If you click on my category page you get the title in the center column, then the posts on the leftside. I would like to replaceadd the center column to display an image. To add text< i think i just need to add an echo but for an image?
    I am totally new at this so bear with me ??
