wamp icon is orange

  • hello,
    I had earlier wamp installed. But as i am starting new project, uninstalled wamp through control panel & deleted its files from C folder.
    I than tried to install wamp, the installation works fine, but the wamp icon shows orange so when i try to access https://localhost its gives me ‘This site can’t be reached http’s server DNS address could not be found.’ error.

    I am not able to figure it out where i am going wrong.

  • This is really a WordPress support forum and you probably want to use Google or go to the WAMP website forums to get answers. That being said, the problem is most likely the default ports you are setting and it is conflicting with something else. This was very common when people upgraded to Windows 10, running Skype, or both. You can probably start your repair by reading this article from Stack Overflow:
