  • Are you using WP 1.2.x or WP 1.5?
    Styles are for 1.2.
    For WP 1.5 use themes!

It is a style sheet; unfortunately there is no available Wallpaper template. However, Alex King
https://www.alexking.org/index.php?content=software/wordpress/styles.php notes that a€?The styles listed on this page work with the default WordPress 1.2 template and the WordPress Classic theme in WordPress 1.5a€?

I cloned the a€?Classica€? template already in WP, then added the Wallpaper files into the clone (replacing the Classica€?s style.css with Wallpapera€?s). I uploaded this and it a€?worksa€?, but ita€?s a little freaked out: the Calendar is missing, the fonts in the menu/sidebar section are huge, the Meta links are floating far left when theya€?re not set that way, etc. See it here at https://featuringdave.com/wordpress/

I wonder, should I be using this Wallpaper template not with Classic 1.5 but with 1.2?

I really like this wallpaper template a€“ primarily its a€?background.gifa€?. Is there any way for me to incorporate this a€?background.gifa€? into another template or through some other means in order to maintain the a€?feela€? of Wallpaper?
