Waiting for Twitter Platform Error

    Hello, today my website won’t load and it is because of the Twitter Plugin. It is just saying waiting for platform.twitter.com…

    When I deactivate the plugin the website loads. Did their API change? Any help is appreciated.

  • I am having the same issue!

    I’ve had a client mention this too and I do see the API call finally return the tweets. Haven’t found a cause but sometimes it is popping and other times not. ??? Think it likely is some resource issues on the Twitter.com side of the house.

    Hey guys,

    It sounds like Amazon Web Services are experiencing some issues currently which is affecting some Twitter servers and causing a problem for some users connecting to their API. Once the AWS issues are resolved the plugin should be able to automatically connect again.
