"Waiting for {old domain}" after Migrating WordPress

I recently migrated my WordPress to new hosting using the guide provided by wordpress (to the best of my ability).

I used to have an old domain “hatfieldmccoymuseum.org” pointing to the website as I was transferring it to new hosting, so that I could test it before pointing the new domain, tourpikecounty.com, to it.

When one visits https://www.tourpikecounty.com, the website loads correctly, but the loading spinner at the top continues to go for quite a while, and the bottom notice says “Waiting for hatfieldmccoymuseum.org”. This domain is no longer associated with this website.

Did I miss a step somewhere?
