Wait before showing “Add to Homescreen” prompt

  • Hello!
    I would like to delay the “Add to home screen” pop-up to improve the users experience.
    I have found such request from a while ago and I was wondering if it has been added to the plugin or which is your idea about it.
    Also, is it possible to know how many user have installed the PWA app?

  • I think this is browser behaviour which cannot be altered. EG only chrome adds the ‘add to homescreen’ popup, Firefox adds an icon to the url bar.

    If you look in the addons menu item there is a campaign tracking addon. You can add a parameter there which will add ?urm=WHATEVER to the pwa homepage so you can see in Google analytics campaigns how many people open the homepage of the pwa.
