I recently restored from a backup.

I have the Wordfence basic package installed and configured.

On the Firewall Configuration Options page it says that the firewall is “Enabled and Protecting” – but the % complete is 0 and there are no community updates to the firewall rules. I used to have basic WAF score and regular community updates.

Is my WAF actually working? – or is there some mis-configuration somewhere?

    Thank you,

    .t.

Hi @tyzer007, thanks for getting in touch!

I have seen 0% for the Firewall page fixed before by deactivating and reactivating the plugin in WordPress > Plugins > Installed Plugins as it changes data in the wflogs folder. This could correlate with the firewall rule message as it may be looking in the same location. Opt to keep all Wordfence tables and data when asked.

If you’ve already tried that, it might help us to see a diagnostic to see if we can find anything in your configuration that might point to an issue. You can do this from?Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics?to us at?wftest @ wordfence . com. Click on?“Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and?respond here after you have sent it.

NOTE: It should look as follows – Screenshot of Tools > Diagnostic > Send by Email

    Thanks,
    Peter.
