    Thank you for you for reaching out.

    As you can see in the post you mentioned, you can exclude a specific class of the images, by adding it in Performance>User Experience>Exclude words: section. In your case attachment-woocommerce_thumbnail
    Once added to the list, save all settings and purge the cache.

    The other solution is to use the mentioned plugin to Load products from next page via AJAX with infinite scrolling or load more products button
