I installed for the first time yesterday, so am assuming that is the version to which you are referring (I don’t have the file I download to hand right now)…

I managed to test remotely. Still no joy unfortunately: appears to conflict with W3TC so that the stylesheet gets a 404 error.

Stylesheet in yasr are present and it’s working.
So it’s a problem only in your case: try to disable all your plugin 1 by 1 to see if there is a conflict.

You may ask to your hosting if there is a problem with the permissions too.

    Dario

The problem I think is the Minify on W3TC. To test, turn Minify off and refresh the cache and then check the page you are using YASR on. If it works, then you know what the issue is… Do not minify the JS and CSS for YASR.

I had an issue where the stars were not showing up as I did the manual Minify before I started using YASR. I took out the YASR CSS and JS files out of the Minify and all was good.

But thank you for posting as seeing your issue made me realized what caused mine. Hope you get it fixed.

Thanks Sean, yes I had a similar issue with another plugin a month or so ago and managed to fix that by changing the way that the plugin’s files were being included. I’ll see if it’s the same here and report back. But as you say, that’s a good solution if all else fails and must be happening for anyone running a minify plugin in addition.

    Hi Theo,
I use W3 Total Cache and I’ve no problem with YASR

So I found a solution. Basically within my W3TC Minify configuration, I had to select Disable minify automatic file name length test, then set the filename length to 150. I guess that the filename being generated was too long or something when YASR was added…

    Congrats on figuring it out!
