W3TC docs @ Boldgrid Website – Jumplink target hidden behind sticky top menu bar
-
I report a bug on Boldgrid.com website — here on WP.org b/c the W3TC support form integrated in the WordPress backend fails to submit — which makes the plugin documentation and its anchor links less usable:

- The www.remarpro.com website itself suffered a similar bug which I reported in 2021-08 which got fixed in 2023-01.
Solutions approaches:
- You can utilize either the CSS attribute “scroll-margin-top” as a CSS only solution (fast & efficient!) which is meanwhile widely supported.
- Or a small JavaScript (takes a bit resources, but neglible, which usually travel by a pixel offset defined in a setting and as a surplus can (if desired) add a customized jump animation (can help orientation) e.g. plugins like: Fixed Menu Anchor.
