I have recently setup W3 Total Cache and after some problems with the display of WooCommerce when I enabled minify (rectified by using manual setup and excluding all woocommerce JS/CSS) I have it working except for one problem. When somebody accesses the website from a mobile the menu shows but does nothing when they click on it.
I have no other optimisation plugins on the site or anything else that controls caching whatsoever.
Is there a setting that I need to enable/disable, to sort this problem out.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @chrish57

Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to assist you with this.
Can you please disable minify in Perfirmance>General settings, save all settings and purge the cache and see if the issue persists?
If the issue is gone, re-enable minify, and disable the settings in Performance>minify one by one (HTML minify, JS minify, CSS minify) and see which one might be causing the issue.
Make sure to save all settings and purge the cache after each option is disabled.
    Thanks!

Hi, thanks for getting back to me. If I disable minify it works. If I switch minify back on even just for html, with Java & CSS disabled it disappears againg

    Hello @chrish57

    Thank you for your feedback.
If you Enable Minify and disable HTML minify, does the problem persists?
    Thanks!

Do I need to switch it back to auto instead of manual?

    (@chrish57)

Yes, still got the problem if Minify is switched on whatsoever

    Hello @chrish57

    Thank you for your feedback.
Well, this is strange. If I understand correctly, if Minify is enabled in Performance>General settings and in Perfomance>Minify all settings HTML minify settings: JS minify settings: and CSS minify settings: checkboxes are disabled, settings saved and cache purged, the problem still persists?
    Thanks!

Yes, that is correct. At the moment I am unable to use minify at all as I cannot have a site that people cannot operate the menu on mobile. More than half of my traffic comes from people using mobile.

    Hello @chrish57

    Thank you for your feedback.
This does not make any sense… If minify is enabled in the General settings and all the settings within the Minify settings are disabled then the modification will not take effect and therefore will not impact your website.
So it must be one of the settings and my guess is HTML minify
Can you please confirm that in Performance>Minify all the settings are disabled as shown below in the screenshot and that you saved all settings and purged the cache?

Hi, I didn’t have to change any of the settings in the mimify settings as they were still disabled from before, but saved and purged caches again. Then enabled minify on the general settings, saved and purged cache on that one again. Menu on mobile is now still working. This is very strange as have done nothing different to before but then the mobile menu wasn’t working on those settings. Think my website was throwing a temper tantrum that it maybe has now got over.

    Hey @chrish57

Thank you for your feedback and confirmation.
I can see that minify is enabled now and the mobile menu is working as expected.
    Thanks!

Thanks for your input on this. I have no idea why it wouldn’t do this to start with.
