• I just installed W3 Total Cache, and I’ve successfully configured Amazon Cloudfront (via S3) as CDN. Now I’m uploading my files to S3 via W3TC.

So far, I have completed uploading the theme files, includes files and custom files. I started uploading attachments a few hours ago, but put it on Pause to take a short break. When I resumed the upload, the export window keeps flashing a “request failed (retry in X seconds)” error.

Has anyone encountered this error? How do I solve this? I already tried deleting the files on S3 (i.e. the ones that were already uploaded), but to no avail.

  • Did you resolve this? I’m having the same problem. I tried exporting my includes files. It uploaded 50 right away, and now I keep getting the request failed (retry in X seconds).

EDIT: 50 seems to be the stopping point for everything. I have tried exporting different folders, and even had W3 TC create a new bucket in case there was an issue with the one I was using. No matter what, it always stops after 50.
