• Hello there. Great plugin, many thanks. Very convenient to use, don’t need to en-queue Google fonts in functions.

I am having W3C validator screaming about problem with amphesant. Is there any way around it? This is my case:

    …ly=Lato:100,400,700|Montserrat:400,700&subset=latin’ type=’text/css’ media=’al…

Would the solution be to encode the amphesant with encoded version maybe?

    Many thanks,
    m.

  • This same question keeps coming up for this plugin. I can’t see any input from the developer. I sent him a tweet, got no response.

I’ve tried to change the code myself but it still fails validation. A post about a year back says other people tried the same thing.

It would probably be simpler to find another plugin…

There are two validation errors. The first was reported by musenuovo & donmcleman where the ampersand should be escaped as & .

The second error is in the same line at the end. html5 only requires a > at the end of the line and does not require a /> ending. The / should be removed in order for w3c to validate.
