W3 Unexpected File Change

    Hi,

    Wordfence has detected an unexpected file change to W3 cache, is this legitimate?

    echo “\ngeneric_plugin reset\n”; has been added to the function below.

    if ( isset( $GLOBALS[‘w3tc_blogmap_register_new_item’] ) ) {
    echo “\ngeneric_plugin reset\n”;

    Thank you for your inquiry and I am happy to answer this.
    The change is initiated to load the plugin text-domain when the blog map is changed. This change occurs with WPMU or multilanguage websites and it’s required for the W3TC to work as expected.
    This is legitimate and there is nothing to be concerned about.
