w3 total cache serves wrong pages

  • Hi,
    since I installed the plugin often happens that when I open a page:

    • the URL displayed in the address bar of the browser is correct
    • the entire content of the page is wrong (is served another page)

    The wrong page displayed is the cached version (I can see it from the html source code). Refreshing the page with F5 the correct content is displayed.

    Has anyone ever had this same problem?

    Hi Simone,
    I’m trying to reproduce the issue but it happens randomly when you load in a rapid sequence different pages of the site.

    The problem happens with different PCs, different browsers, different Internet connections.

    This exact thing is happening to me right now, RELIABLY. Wrong page being served. WebPageTest tested it with clean browser cache, got the wrong page.

    Okay, fixed it, it went away, came back again.

    90% sure it’s a conflict with iThemes Security. Pull the plug-in, you should be fine (or find the conflicting module).
