• W3 Total Cache prevents scheduled posts from being posted (message: “Missed schedule”). We have set-up a separate ‘real’ cron, but it did not solve the problem.

The only solution is to temporarily disable the plug-in daily or by posting manually.

There seems to be many people with this problem, but none with a working solution.

    Having the same issue here.

After updating our plugins and also creating a separate ‘real’ cron, our success rate is roughly 1 in 3 (published to missed).

Is there a work around for W3?

It appears to be an issue with any caching plug-in, so do not even bother trying an alternative. ??
