    RESOLVED!

    Here’s what I did:

    1. Reset Nextgen (Gallery>Reset/Uninstall). This reset the gallery path for the secondary site to wp-content/blogs.dir/site ID/files/ (replace “site ID” with the actual site ID Number).

    2. Network deactivated Nextgen (this may not have been necessary).

    3. Activated Nextgen individually on the 2 sites that use it (this may not have been necessary).

    4. W3TC CDN Settings: Added the following to custom file list: wp-content/blogs.dir/site ID/files/* (replace “site ID” with the actual site ID Number. In my case is was wp-content/blogs.dir/7/files/*)

    5. Create a NEW Gallery in Nextgen (Just taking the steps above will not make W3TC upload previous gallery images).

    6. W3TC CDN: Upload custom files. You should see the files from the new gallery being uploaded).

    7. Insert new gallery into page or post.

    8. Voila!

    9. Delete previous gallery- if you wish.
