W3 Total Cache – Issue with clearing cache

    Hi Team,

    We are using W3 Total Cache plugin. We have enabled Database Caching and storing type as “memcached”. Whenever we are trying to clear database (memcache) cache using “empty only the memcached cache(s)”, we are getting “Memcached cache(s) successfully emptied.” message.

    But the cache is not getting cleared. However on its expiration time, it is getting cleared. But if we want to clear the cache by clicking “Purge all caches, empty only the memcached cache(s) or Empty Cache in database caching setting” on W3TC plugin, cache is not getting cleared.

    Could you please confirm, what could be the reason?

    I am sorry about the issue you are experiencing and I am happy to assist you with this.
    Can you please extend your question and elaborate on how the cache is not getting cleared? Any example?
    Also, the screenshot of the area where you are trying to empty cache would be appreciated.

    Hi @vmarko,

    You can see “empty all caches & empty only the memcached cache(s)” in the W3TC Dashboard screen. Also there are two other places, Performance -> Purge all caches & Performance -> Database Cache -> Empty Cache. I am clearing cache in all the above mentioned places. But the database cache (memcache) was still there in our memcached DB server. It is not getting cleared.

    It is getting cleared only if the key has expired.

    Please advise.

    Hi @vmarko and @gidomanders

    I am using the multisite and having the issue with clear all cache which will not actually clear the cache of all my multisite. I need to wait for couple of hours to see the actual content change. You have ask the question in the current thread that is it you have multisite feature in your WordPress? So can I know what is the reason behind to ask the question. What exactly happen or work W3TC cache with multisite. Because I am having big issue with this please can you reply as soon as possible thank you.
