W3 Total Cache issue with 3.3

dang, you’re lucky to be able to have minify in auto mode. most of us have to do the manual way and trying to get all those scripts in the right order with the right blocking/non-blocking takes a long time.

the switch to 3.3 definitely changes things with this plugin.

Just upgraded 2 sites to 3.3 (Deactivated W3TC, upgraded, reactivated W3TC, cleared all caches and all is good.

I am having the same problem, JS Minify is not working since upgrade to WP 3.3. The CDN upload tool does not seem to recognize the need to upload any minified JS files for some reason, only the minified CSS. JS only works with W3TC JS minify disabled. Hope this gets fixed soon!

Got the same initial issue after upgrade to 3.3:
blank white screen (both for the admin pages and the website pages)

For me though, it’s not a problem of minification but it looks php related. I’m being said on plugin re-activation:
Fatal error, open_basedir restriction in effect, please check your php.ini settings.

Problem is, I’m using the correct php version and permissions are set right so I’m at a loss here.
Anyone got a clue? (I can’t re-activate the plugin at all so I’m going to have a website slower than usual for some time and edit my .htaccess manually. That’s still better than having a white screen if you ask me but eh…)

So, W3 Total Cache is working for me again with my Rackspace Cloud CDN. Here are the 2 problems that were preventing my setup from working:

1. One of the JS files that I was trying to minify had disappeared, it was called l10n.js… may have been coming from a plugin that I’ve since disabled. Not sure.
2. The Twitter widget JS (https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js) was throwing a JS error after being minified by W3TC.

So, I removed both from my list of minified scripts and my site is functioning normally again, and W3TC minify & CDN are running smoothly.

If you are having problems with W3TC minify and WP 3.3 try turning on the debug option for minify, it may shed some light on your problem.

This plugin started acting up for me over the weekend. We’re using it over at https://www.Blippitt.com.

I tried unchecking “Minify”, but that didn’t help.

Some posts are fine, some appear totally blank…no code, no headers, no nothing.

I’m going to leave this deactivated for now. We’ve temporarily switched over to the QuickCache plugin with no issues so far.

If anyone is still unable to get all of their issues sorted, please submit a bug submission form from the support tab of the plugin with the steps to duplicate the issue.

FYI, submitting the bug report wasn’t easy as the plugin has to be activated to do so…and activating it kills the site.

Activated it just long enough to submit the bug report.
