W3 Total Caché increase the inodes to the limit

  • Hello,
    After configuring W3 Total Cache, the peformance of the website has improved, but the hosting (siteground) alert me every day because I reach the limit of inodes.
    I have check and W3 Total Caché is the reason. I dont want to be purging caché every day.

    The solution would be to reduce the amount of caché inodes.

    How can I change it in the configuration? What fields do I need to change?

  • I have this same issue

    just poped out here today as well.
    there might be some solution which does not involve changing file system on server or purginign cache regulary (in my case – number of inodes came to 7.7M !!?) – just deleting takes time.
    maybe using memcache instead of caching on disk would be solution, but remains to be seen what would do to RAM usage.
    Anyway – will let you know if we solve it.
    If not – I dont even want to think abut changing file system – and W3 will still keep pumping inodes to max
