W3 total Cache — Gzip Compress not working

  • Hey guys, I downloaded W3TC (W3 Total Cache) and I ensured that the gzip compression box was checked by going to Performance << Browser Cache << Enable http gzip — However when I run my page in Google’s page insights I receive the following errors.

    – Enable Compression (gzip or deflate)
    – Leverage Browser Caching
    – Eliminate render-blocking Javascript

    I would like to fix all of these issues using w3tc if possible but if not the first is the most critical (and relevant) to this post.

    Hey guys I just ran my site through GTMEXTRIX And oddly it gave me a B (82) for my Gzip compression — Could this mean maybe the problem is with Google page insights?

    having same problem. looking for the solution.
