I have set up W3 cache and it works great except the CDN. My files are on Rackspace cloud and when I activate, the site does not load correctly.

When I clcik ‘host attachments’ the site does not load any elements or images. But when I check the website source and search for the c-name…rackcdn is shows all the references (over 100) but they do not load.

Am I missing something, perhaps a custom file list? I’m hosting my site on a VPS.

I have enabled/disabled W3TC several times, I have deleted and recreated the distribution and the bucket, I have used the “Force Overwriting” option, and I have emptied the “Upload Queue” errors a number of times. Each time, I have emptied the caches. I have replace the site’s hostname the url from Rackspace. In this case, cXXXXXXXXXX.rackcdn.com

I’m not sure what else to try.

I’m trying another bucket now, reuploading images with a c-name automatically generated.

Any help please what I can try next.

This was resolved and NOT a problem with Frederick’s excellent plug in.

I have folders in the upload area categorized into years. So, in the CDN tab, you have to add the folders to the custom file list pointing to each individual folder. e.g.

    wp-content/uploads/2012/*
    wp-content/uploads/2011/*
    wp-content/uploads/2010/*
    wp-content/uploads/2009/*
    wp-content/uploads/2008/*
    wp-content/uploads/2007/*

Now, everything is working as it should and the images are referencing correctly from the CDN, Rackspace clouds in this case.

Ok, I’m glad you figured it out.
