…..how do I make sure that the URL will always be cached?

So currently I use W3 Total Cache and Cloudflare, everything else works fine. But as you can see in this screen shot from Pingdom, sometimes the URL is not cached by LiteSpeed or Cloudflare and other times it is. This changes the load time from 7.0sec to 1.8sec, so it would be really helpful if it is cached all the time.

Is there anyway using W3 or Cloudlfare that I can set this URL/file to alway be ‘HIT’ rather then ‘MISS’?

    Thanks

I see you’re trying to load the website on HTTP (insecure) and it’s being redirected to HTTPS (secure with SSL/TLS). If your website is fully HTTPS, you should set up HSTS in CloudFlare to tell the browsers to always automatically redirect to HTTPS, that is cached in the browser. CloudFlare also has an option to redirect to HTTPS without having to hit your server. Log in to CloudFlare, go to Crypto and enable the “Always use HTTPS” option. For HSTS the option is directly below that one, “HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS)”.

Thanks @gidomanders, that fixes the speed issue, it still redirects but I am happy with it being cached now
