Hello, I saw that our page has over 150 errors on w3c validation checker.

The problem is the featured image has no itemprop, role and itemrole which are declared but are empty values. This is for the homepage where all the articles are being shown (featured image and small teaser of post).

    Here is a screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/uEnAv

We are using Genesis theme latest version and latest version of Schema plugin.
Plugins used are AMP, Rocket Cache

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide!
Also amazing plugin 5stars for sure!

The plugin generally won’t output itemprop on images, it doesn’t have any output in the HTML.

The Schema plugin outputs the markup in json-ld format, this is something different than what shows in the screenshot.

This maybe something you can fix in the theme template you are using. Sorry, I can’t be much help.

I feared so, ill check the theme functions.

Schema is compatible with Genesis theme right?

    Thank you for your help!

There is some integration in Schema to prevent markup duplication, so Schema will detect Genesis and acts accordingly.
