When wordpress publishes to Facebook and W3 plugin is turned on it keeps giving me an error. The Facebook scrapper is not collecting the right information although the meta data is there. When I put the information into a new facebook post it has no problem it is only when the initial push to facebook happens.

The Jetpack people say the issue is with my cache plugin. is there anything I can do to fix this

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I am sorry to hear about the issues that you are facing. However, after searching a bit online, it seems that the issue is related with the facebook crwaler. Here you can find a detailed explanation on what is happening with a suggeston for a fix. I hope this helps.

That is not my issue. When I scrap the link I dont get that error. As I said, the meta data is there and the information populates properly without having to Debugg the link.

The issue is when wordpress pushes the link to Facebook the first time. Jetpack says there is an issue with how fast the site is loading or something with the cache that is not providing the information fast enough to facebook.

Also, this problem seems to be intermittent. Sometimes the link preview populates perfectly, other times it just shows the link with a link preview to the website name

If the page was not visited without being logged in before, there is not a cache version of the page, so it will build the page from scratch. I think that’s causing Facebook to think it’s not fast enough and block the request. If the caching plugin won’t act as it should then it won’t work at all. However, in order to resolve this issue, the plugin will require some fine tuning and that is available only through professional support. That is available from wp-admin area, menu Performance > Support > Plugin Configuration.
