[W033] ( webform #X1) Date and Time required For automatic opening.

    HI There, working on a new website, and trying to enable the open-automatically, and close-automatically functions within ‘Add new webform’.

    I understand that this is part of the wp-cron utility, but not sure what code needs to be in place, if any. Or if does how to access it. I get the following message when I try and save a new webform with the open/close feature ticked albeit only a date is entered in the date field 2020-12-01, and the pull-down menu for time isn’t displaying any choices. When I try to save that form, I get the following error: [W033] ( webform #X1) Date and Time required For automatic opening.

    We simply want to enable entries to the competition, then then close then when the date arrives.

    What’s the first step to enabling this functionality?

    I’d suggest first checking your settings for time format (Settings/General). Did you change it? If you haven’t set it, EntryWizard is supposed to use a default, but there may be something wrong with how it does that.

    And check through your php error logs, which are in wp-content/debug.log by default (look for “EWZ:”).

    If you are seeing other problems, too, I’d suggest re-installing entrywizard.

    Thanks very much for the prompt response Josie. I’ve managed to correct this issue, by going into Settings / General and just selecting a date and time format. After doing that the calendar, and time are now working.

    Thanks for the feedback. In a future release I’ll try to fix entrywizard so it handles this situation properly.
