Just restore/replace the file your were editing when things went wrong, with a copy from your backup.

you will know why i cant backup, restore or edit…

none of the editors are working…

what and how can i restore???

Connect by ftp and replace the file you were editing with the unedited backup you made just before you started editing.

If you don’t have a backup you need to remember what you changed and put it back – again via ftp. Its probably something daft causing the error like a missing semicolon.

ok thanks, but cant it be done without the ftp… my client might not trust me with the details now.

No, thank you. I strongly urge you to quickly remove the admin password you just posted above, and please don’t post them publicly. You just gave anyone who sees this post admin access to your “clients” WordPress site.

The file you would restore, would be the one you messed up while you were editing it. You would do that with an ftp client, or the file manager in your hosts control panel, not the WordPress dashboard.

my client might not trust me with the details now.

After posting an admin account access publicly, you are probably correct. You should change that password as soon as possible.

    thanks removed the details…
