Vulnerability: WP Abstracts <= 2.6.1 – Reflected Cross-Site Scripting

I use Wordfence on my site, which sent me a warning about WP Abstracts (see below). I also see that WP Abstracts has not been tested for WP 6.2. When can I expect to see a patch/update?

Description

The WP Abstracts plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to, and including, 2.6.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
