Hello, I have upgraded PHP 5.6 to PHP 7.4.33. However, now only code from Visual compose is indicated. The version of Visual compose is 4.11.2.1. Is it possible that the PHP version of Visual compose is not supported? Some parts are displayed correctly, some sections only output code such as [vc_empty_space height=”80px”]
Thanks for the help in advance.

    Hi,

The shortcode shared by you is of WPBakery Page Builder plugin: https://wpbakery.com/
Please note that the WPBakery Page Builder and Visual Composer Website Builder: https://visualcomposer.com/ are two independent plugins. The former works using shortcodes while the latter works using react-based rendering.
You can check the detailed differences between the two here: https://help.visualcomposer.com/docs/getting-started/visual-composer-vs-wpbakery/

    Thanks,

Oke, but what can I do to hide this code on the website? Many parts of the website display such code. I would update the plugin, but I have to pay for the plugin to be able to update it. So I would know what the problem could be.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

In most cases, such an issue can occur with plugins relying on shortcodes if the corresponding closing shortcode is missing, due to which, the shortcode fails to render.
We can recommend contacting plugin support as they will be in a better position to guide you.

    Thanks,
