VPS will make my website way faster?

  • So i’m building a website that will have a thousands of pages. I barely have 100 pages and the plugins started to make my website so slow.
    There are 4 plugins i’m using and when i deactivate them the website work totally fine. but i can’t give up on this plugins.. I paid for this plugins for premium versions.

    I have godaddy shared hosting..
    You guys thinking that if I move my site to VPS it will make the site faster while all the plugins running..? I’m currently having like 10-15 second server response time.

    Also what is VPS vs Cloud VPS ? what should i choose ?

  • A VPS might make yur site faster, but you’ll need to check the resources that you’ll need so that you odn’t end up with something slower.

    As far as the difference between a VPS and a cloud VPS, there’s no difference that you’ll notice. A VPS in the “cloud” only means that it’s on more of shared file system, so it could have more redundancy, but it might also suffer from more lag from load balancing and more.
