Hi, I have another question (sorry!).
In the Configuration Settings for WTI Like Post Pro you can write custom text for the following:

    “Login required message”
    “Default message”
    “Thank you message”
    “Already voted message”

I have written custom responses for each of these and the relevant message is displayed under the voting buttons on my site when someone clicks on a voting button (as you would expect).

However, the responses also alter the layout of the page when they are generated (i.e. after someone has clicked on a voting button).

Is there are way to have these responses display in a separate pop-up box, such as those in another WordPress plugin like “Popup Maker”, “PopUp by Supsystic” or “Popups – WordPress Popup”?

If so, which files and code do I need to amend in WTI Like Post Pro?

While developing a plugin, we check with the default theme and it worked perfectly in this case. We are not sure what you mean by “alter the layout”. If it’s breaking your layout, then the theme you are using does not have enough space to show the output. Can you please share your site url?

As far as using a pop up is concerned, it has 2 disadvantages. One is it will show only after clicking, not what’s already available or should be shown. Secondly, we do not want to rely on other plugins as we will have to keep checking with them every time they update. We can not ask all users to use another plugin to use ours. Also what will happen if they discontinue their plugin?

Since this is related to pro version, please use this forum for further communications.

    Thanks

OK, thanks for the swift response.

@crobert36 – Depending on how the links are created adding them to a Popup Maker popup wouldn’t be to difficult. I’m the developer for PM. I don’t think this would be a case where compatibility checks are constantly needed nor would it require all users to install Popup Maker, sounds more like a one off case that would simply insert the links into an inline popup which would be done by this user alone no?
