Voting option based on IP address at a time interval.

  • Hello, is there any way I can set a voting limit based on IP/cookie? Currently, I’ve tested the logging method using cookies, but users can delete their cookies and cheat, which is not what I want to happen. I’ve tried the logging method using username/IP, but with that setting, the user can only give one like for a lifetime. I need them to be able to vote once every 12 hours. I’ve also tried username/IP + cookie, but it’s the same as using username/IP. And I can’t set the “nolimit” option to 12 hours.

    What I want to ask is if the plugin can function exactly like the logging method using cookies, but with the verification also based on IP. Instead of using cookies, can it use IP, and allow users to vote again every 12 hours, instead of allowing only one vote for a lifetime?
